VIATT 2025: Vietnam international textile and apparel exhibition

The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is the most comprehensive textile event in the region. Its first edition, VIATT 2024, ran from 28 February to 1 March 2024 and drew more than 400 domestic and international companies across 500 booths.

The 2025 edition expects 500 companies across a total of 18,000 m², with exhibitors from 55 countries including Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

The sector's position in the national economy

Vietnam is the world's third largest exporter of textiles and garments and among the largest importers of textile machinery. The sector grew at between 20% and 26% a year over 2018 to 2022. In the first quarter of the ten months to late 2024, export turnover reached 9.5 billion USD, up 9.6% on the same period in 2023.

Ho Chi Minh City accounts for 35% of foreign direct investment projects and holds the country's largest seaport and international airport.
