The International Food and Beverage Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City has been held annually since 1996, with the aim of driving growth in the food and beverage sector.

The display area runs to 36,000 m² with 1,200 food exhibition booths, gathering more than 850 companies from 20 countries and territories and drawing 25,000 visits.
International pavilions include India, Poland, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Russia. Poland has taken part in five consecutive editions.
The show connects two sectors - food and beverage - across five display areas: food; agricultural, forestry and aquatic products; beverages; nutritional and medicinal foods; and food ingredients and additives. Alongside these are machinery and technology for food production, packaging and preservation, and brand franchising.

Against a year in which the wider economy felt the effects of world political conditions in 2023, survey figures from iPOS.vn recorded growth in Vietnam.
According to the FFA: F&B sector revenue in 2023 was 590,900 billion VND, growth of 11.47%. The dine-in market alone was 538,500 billion VND, up 10.87% on 2022.
iPOS.vn also found that Vietnamese spending on eating out rose 5-10%. 14.9% of customers chose to eat dinner out at a spend above 100,000 VND, 3.5 times the 2022 figure, and 59.5% were willing to spend more than 41,000 VND on coffee.
In compiled figures from Momentum Works, the food delivery market grew fastest in Southeast Asia.
