VietnamPlas 2024: plastics and rubber machinery and equipment

VietnamPlas is the leading international exhibition for the plastics and rubber industry in Vietnam. It is held annually and draws large companies from the sector, showing products, services and machinery from around the world.

The plastics sector in Vietnam

Vietnam's plastics industry has around 2,000 companies, 83% of them in Ho Chi Minh City. The sector has seen strong growth in exports of plastic and raw materials, though that pattern can work against sustainable development. Plastic pollution and new policy on virgin plastic also put demands on companies in the sector.

Vietnamese plastics products compete in packaging, household plastics, construction plastics and engineering plastics, and have reached a point where they hold a share of the market in a number of countries.
